Smoking after a meal is very dangerous. If you must have a smoke, then it's good to wait for 2 hours after having the meal. Smoking a cigarette after meal has the same effect as smoking 10 cigarettes. This increases the chances of bowel and lung cancer significantly.
Going to bed after meal
When we lie down, some juices flow to the esophagus due to gravitational force. Due to it's acidic nature it can burn the inner layer of esophagus.
Never rush to shower after a meal
Wait for 30 minutes after a meal. Digestion needs a lot of energy and blood flow in our body. When you take a warm shower blood flows towards the skin to release off the heat, thus making it difficult to digest.
Drinking tea can lead to 87% decrease in iron absorption and even iron deficiency, which can lead to anemia, dizziness, weakness and fatigue.
No fruits after meal
All fruits other than banana, digest very fast. Fruits take just 20 minutes to travel from your stomach to intestine. When you eat a fruit after the meal it doesn't travel to the intestine in time and gets spoiled as a result. This spoils the entire food as well.
Avoid cold water after meal
Ice water doesn't let digestion. Hot water helps digestion. Hence prefer hot/warm water over cold water after having your meal.
