Dry brushing is usually considered good for a winter skin. A general rule of thumb is that for ultra sensitive skin dry brush once a week, but for all other skin types, it's good to dry brush 2 times a week. Dry brushing also helps blood circulation and hence can have detoxifying benefits. Detoxification as a result can help with weight loss.
Dry brushing should be done only on dry skin. Be aware not to dry brush after the shower. Take the shower after you are done with dry brushing.
Dry brushing is also helpful to reduce cellulite. Cellulite is a condition in which skin has dimpled, lumpy appearance, particularly in the regions around the thighs and buttocks. Dry brushing helps with circulation and hence can have a temporary effect on cellulite.
